The Life of the Martyrs and Death

Question

Question: I have a friend who is a staunch disciple of the respected Mawlana Khushhal; we frequently have discussions with each other on various matters. Our practice is that after praying the ‘Isha prayer we go to recite the Fatiha at the shrine of a saintly man, Ibrahim ‘Ali Shah, at Pir Kachehri, Bhopa Stand. His practice is that he lights incense sticks, puts money into the collection box fixed on that grave, and eats the sweets that people often offer at the shrine.

Answer

(1) Life is established for others as well, but the life of all is not the same — there is a great difference: after a prophet, marriage with his wife is not permissible, and likewise a prophet’s inheritance is not divided; the awliya of Allah and the martyrs are not in this position. (2)
