Is Allah the Exalted the Knower of the Unseen?

Question

Zayd says: during the blessed Mi‘raj the noble Prophet ﷺ ascended nine times, and each time five prayers were remitted; had Allah the Exalted been the Knower of the Unseen, He would have remitted them all at the very first time. In this sense, if the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is not a knower of the unseen, then is Allah the Exalted not the Knower of the Unseen either?

Answer

The event of the Mi‘raj took place only once, and in it, on the advice of Musa ﵇, it came to the Prophet ﷺ going back again and again with a request, and at each request a portion was remitted. That Allah the Exalted is the Knower of the Unseen (‘alim al-ghayb) is established by a decisive text (nass qat‘i); denying it is a denial of a decisive text, and that entails kufr.
