الْحَلَالُ بَيِّنٌ وَالْحَرَامُ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَهُمَا مُشَبَّهَاتٌ لَا يَعْلَمُهَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَمَنِ اتَّقَى الْمُشَبَّهَاتِ اسْتَبْرَأَ لِدِينِهِ وَعِرْضِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters that many people do not know. Whoever guards against the doubtful matters protects his religion and his honor.”

Potash alum E522: AlK(SO4)2·12H2O and burnt (anhydrous). Per EFSA 2018, GB 1886.229 and the 公定書 — from bauxite or aluminium hydroxide, sulphuric acid and potassium sulphate (c1, c2, c3, c4, c5) and from alunite (c8). Other routes — shales, aluminosilicates, cryolite, lithium ores, wastes. Animal links: bone-glue anti-caking agent (c28, c29), the KVIC glue coagulant (c93, c96, c94)
