Surah Al-Mursalat (المرسلات)

77:1
وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا
By the oath of those winds that are released to give benefit (such as those that cause pollination - fertilization of plants and condensation - heavier clouds which become rain).
77:2
فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا
By the oath of those winds that blow extremely severely (causing serious damage).
77:3
وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا
By the oath of those winds that spread out the clouds (causing them to gather together and rain on places that most need the rain).
77:4
فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا
By the oath of those winds that separate the clouds (causing them to scatter and not to give any rain).
77:5
فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا
By the oath of those winds that induce remembrance (of Allaah)...
77:6
عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
...either (inducing) repentance or caution. (While beneficial winds are a sign of Allaah's mercy and prompt man to be grateful to Allaah, destructive winds instil fear in man's heart and prompt him to repent to Allaah so that he may be saved from punishment.)
77:7
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
Verily what you have been warned about (Qiyaamah) shall certainly take place.(without fail)
