Surah Al-Insan (الانسان)

• 76:1

  هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ حِينٌ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْـًٔا مَّذْكُورًا

  Undoubtedly, a moment in time has passed by man when he was not even something worth mentioning (he was still a drop of semen).

• 76:2

  إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا

  Indeed We have created man from a mixed seed (fusion between the male sperm and female egg) to test him (by prescribing various duties for him) and We made him (a) hearing and seeing (being).

• 76:3

  إِنَّا هَدَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا

  We guided him to the path (of the true Deen and Shari'ah), so he is either grateful (by following the path) or ungrateful (by choosing to remain a Kaafir).

• 76:4

  إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ سَلَـٰسِلَا۟ وَأَغْلَـٰلًا وَسَعِيرًا

  Verily for the Kaafiroon We have prepared chains, yokes (fetters) and a flaming fire (in the Aakhirah).

• 76:5

  إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا

  (On the other hand) The righteous (Mu'mineen) shall certainly drink from a cup which contains a (drink made from a) mixture of (water from the spring of) Kaafoor (Camphor)...

• 76:6

  عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا

  (which is) a spring (in Jannah) from which Allaah's bondsmen shall drink and which they shall cause to flow abundantly (wherever they wish).

• 76:7

  يُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسْتَطِيرًا

  They (the righteous are people who) fulfil their vows (and everything else that is binding on them) and fear the day (of Qiyaamah) whose difficulty shall be widespread (affecting everyone).
