Surah At-Tur (الطور)

52:1
وَٱلطُّورِ
By the oath of Mount Toor (the mountain where Allaah addressed Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام)...
52:2
وَكِتَـٰبٍ مَّسْطُورٍ
and the written book (the record of every person's actions)...
52:3
فِى رَقٍّ مَّنشُورٍ
which is in an open manuscript (to be made available for reading on the Day of Qiyaamah).
52:4
وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْمَعْمُورِ
And (by the oath of) the "Baytul Ma'moor" ("The Frequently Visited House", referring to the place in the heavens directly above the Kabah where the angels make Tawaaf)...
52:5
وَٱلسَّقْفِ ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ
and (by the oath of) the raised roof (the sky)...
52:6
وَٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْمَسْجُورِ
and (by the oath of) the brimming (swelling) ocean.
52:7
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
Indeed, the punishment of your Rabb shall take place (on the Day of Qiyaamah).
