The Holy Quran 52:48 — Surah At-Tur

Arabic text

وَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ

Translation

(Therefore, O Rasulullaah ﷺ) Bear patiently with the decision (order) of your Rabb (to allow the Kuffaar respite until the appointed time of their punishment) for you are under Our protection (and have nothing to fear from them). Glorify the praises of your Rabb when you rise (from your gatherings and from your sleep, especially at the time of Tahajjud).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

واصبر -أيها الرسول- لحكم ربك وأمره فيما حَمَّلك من الرسالة، وعلى ما يلحقك من أذى قومك، فإنك بمرأى منا وحفظ واعتناء، وسبِّح بحمد ربك حين تقوم إلى الصلاة، وحين تقوم من نومك، ومن الليل فسبِّح بحمد ربك وعظِّمه، وصلِّ له، وافعل ذلك عند صلاة الصبح وقت إدبار النجوم.
