The Holy Quran 7:99 — Surah Al-A'raf

Arabic text

أَفَأَمِنُوا۟ مَكْرَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَلَا يَأْمَنُ مَكْرَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ

Translation

Are they secure (have become fearless) from Allaah's plan (punishment)? Only those at a loss feel secure from Allaah's plan.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أفأمن أهل القرى المكذبة مَكْرَ الله وإمهاله لهم; استدراجًا لهم بما أنعم عليهم في دنياهم عقوبة لمكرهم؟ فلا يأمن مكر الله إلا القوم الهالكون.
