The Holy Quran 4:53 — Surah An-Nisa

Arabic text

أَمْ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّنَ ٱلْمُلْكِ فَإِذًا لَّا يُؤْتُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ نَقِيرًا

Translation

(Referring to the claim of the Jews that Prophethood was only their legacy and could not fall to the lot of any other nation, Allaah says) Or do they have a share in the kingdom (of Allaah)? In that case they would not give people even the slit (piece) found on a date seed (because of their miserliness).

بل ألهم حظ من الملك، ولو أوتوه لما أعطوا أحدًا منه شيئًا، ولو كان مقدار النقرة التي تكون في ظهر النَّواة؟
