The Holy Quran 4:143 — Surah An-Nisa

Arabic text

مُّذَبْذَبِينَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ لَآ إِلَىٰ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَلَآ إِلَىٰ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ۚ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبِيلًا

Translation

Swaying (wavering) between (Imaan and kufr), they are neither towards these (the Mu'mineen) nor towards those (the Kuffaar). You shall never find a way (to guidance) for him whom Allaah has led astray (those whom Allaah has allowed to stray from the straight path because they refuse to accept Imaan).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إنَّ مِن شأن هؤلاء المنافقين التردد والحَيْرة والاضطراب، لا يستقرون على حال، فلا هم مع المؤمنين ولا هم مع الكافرين. ومن يصرف الله قلبه عن الإيمان به والاستمساك بهديه، فلن تجد له طريقًا إلى الهداية واليقين.
