The Holy Quran 4:103 — Surah An-Nisa

Arabic text

فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قِيَـٰمًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمْ ۚ فَإِذَا ٱطْمَأْنَنتُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَـٰبًا مَّوْقُوتًا

Translation

When you have completed your salaah, remember Allaah standing, sitting and (lying down) on your sides (in all conditions). When you are in safety (out of danger and away from the battlefield), then establish salaah (performing it properly with all its etiquettes). Indeed salaah has been made obligatory for the Mu'mineen at fixed hours (and can therefore not be brought forward).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فإذا أدَّيتم الصلاة، فأديموا ذكر الله في جميع أحوالكم، فإذا زال الخوف فأدُّوا الصلاة كاملة، ولا تفرِّطوا فيها فإنها واجبة في أوقات معلومة في الشرع.
