The Holy Quran 47:25 — Surah Muhammad

Arabic text

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱرْتَدُّوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَـٰرِهِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلْهُدَى ۙ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمْ وَأَمْلَىٰ لَهُمْ

Translation

Indeed those who have turned their backs after guidance (the proof of Towheed and truth of Islaam) has been made clear to them, Shaytaan has beautified (their sins) for them and prolonged their hopes (because of which they never repent).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إن الذين ارتدُّوا عن الهدى والإيمان، ورجعوا على أعقابهم كفارًا بالله من بعد ما وَضَح لهم الحق، الشيطان زيَّن لهم خطاياهم، ومدَّ لهم في الأمل.
