The Holy Quran 47:24 — Surah Muhammad

Arabic text

أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَآ

Translation

Do they not ponder (reflect) over the Qur'aan or are there locks on their hearts (which prevent the guidance of the Qur'aan from entering their hearts because of their pride and insolence)?

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أفلا يتدبر هؤلاء المنافقون مواعظ القرآن ويتفكرون في حججه؟ بل هذه القلوب مغلَقة لا يصل إليها شيء من هذا القرآن، فلا تتدبر مواعظ الله وعبره.
