The Holy Quran 3:29 — Surah Ali 'Imran

Arabic text

قُلْ إِن تُخْفُوا۟ مَا فِى صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Translation

Say, "Whether you hide (from people) or reveal (to them) what is in your bosoms (in your hearts, such as your friendship with the Kaafiroon), Allaah knows it (nothing is hidden from Him). He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and Allaah is Able to do all things (including punishing wrongdoers)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قل -أيها النبي- للمؤمنين: إن تكتموا ما استقر في قلوبكم من موالاة الكافرين ونصرتهم أو تظهروا ذلك لا يَخْفَ على الله منه شيء، فإنَّ علمه محيط بكل ما في السماوات وما في الأرض، وله القدرة التامة على كل شيء.
