The Holy Quran 36:50 — Surah Ya-Sin

Arabic text

فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

Translation

(When the punishment seizes them, they will have no chance to do anything,) They will then be unable to make any bequest (testament) nor shall they be able to return to their families (homes).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فلا يستطيع هؤلاء المشركون عند النفخ في «القرن» أن يوصوا أحدًا بشيء، ولا يستطيعون الرجوع إلى أهلهم، بل يموتون في أسواقهم ومواضعهم.
