The Holy Quran 36:49 — Surah Ya-Sin

Arabic text

مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ

Translation

(It seems that) They await only a single scream (punishment or Qiyaamah) to seize them while they are arguing. (it seems that only after this they will decide to accept Imaan).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ما ينتظر هؤلاء المشركون الذين يستعجلون بوعيد الله إياهم إلا نفخة الفَزَع عند قيام الساعة، تأخذهم فجأة، وهم يختصمون في شؤون حياتهم.
