The Holy Quran 35:28 — Surah Fatir

Arabic text

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ كَذَٰلِكَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْعُلَمَـٰٓؤُا۟ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ

Translation

There is a similar variation of colours among people, creatures and animals. From Allaah's bondsmen (servants) it is only the learned ones (those who recognise Him and the Ulema who possess understanding) who fear Him (because they appreciate His powers and greatness). Verily Allaah is Mighty, Most Forgiving.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وخلقنا من الناس والدواب والإبل والبقر والغنم ما هو مختلف ألوانه كذلك، فمن ذلك الأحمر والأبيض والأسود وغير ذلك كاختلاف ألوان الثمار والجبال. إنما يخشى اللهَ ويتقي عقابه بطاعته واجتناب معصيته العلماءُ به سبحانه، وبصفاته، وبشرعه، وقدرته على كل شيء، ومنها اختلاف هذه المخلوقات مع اتحاد سببها، ويتدبرون ما فيها من عظات وعبر.
