The Holy Quran 31:22 — Surah Luqman

Arabic text

۞ وَمَن يُسْلِمْ وَجْهَهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَقَدِ ٱسْتَمْسَكَ بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ ۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْأُمُورِ

Translation

Whoever surrenders (submits) himself to Allaah (by accepting Islaam) and is sincere, (upon good) has certainly clung on to a strong handhold (which will save him from falling into Jahannam). To Allaah will the outcome of all affairs return (Allaah will ultimately decide whether people should be rewarded or punished for the acts they do).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ومن يُخْلص عبادته لله وقصده إلى ربه تعالى، وهو محسن في أقواله، متقن لأعماله، فقد أخذ بأوثق سبب موصل إلى رضوان الله وجنته. وإلى الله وحده تصير كل الأمور، فيجازي المحسن على إحسانه، والمسيء على إساءته.
