The Holy Quran 30:54 — Surah Ar-Rum

Arabic text

۞ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعْفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍ قُوَّةً ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعْفًا وَشَيْبَةً ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْقَدِيرُ

Translation

It is Allaah Who created you in a state of weakness (as a helpless infant), then substituted strength after the weakness (as you grew into an adult) and, after the strength, will again give weakness (as you age) and (until you eventually reach) old-age. Allaah creates whatever He wills, and He is the All Knowing, All Powerful.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

الله تعالى هو الذي خلقكم من ماء ضعيف مهين، وهو النطفة، ثم جعل من بعد ضعف الطفولة قوة الرجولة، ثم جعل من بعد هذه القوة ضعف الكبر والهرم، يخلق الله ما يشاء من الضعف والقوة، وهو العليم بخلقه، القادر على كل شيء.
