The Holy Quran 28:11 — Surah Al-Qasas

Arabic text

وَقَالَتْ لِأُخْتِهِۦ قُصِّيهِ ۖ فَبَصُرَتْ بِهِۦ عَن جُنُبٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

Translation

She (the mother) said to his Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام's sister, "Follow him (downstream)." So she (the sister) spied on (looked after) him from afar without their knowledge (she saw what happened without Fir'oun's people seeing her).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وقالت أم موسى لأخته حين ألقته في اليم: اتَّبِعي أثر موسى كيف يُصْنَع به؟ فتتبعت أثره فأبصرته عن بُعْد، وقوم فرعون لا يعرفون أنها أخته، وأنها تتبع خبره.
