The Holy Quran 27:36 — Surah An-Naml
Translation
When the (queen's) messenger came to Sulaymaan عليه الصلاة والسلام (with the gift), he (Sulaymaan عليه الصلاة والسلام) said, "Do you wish to assist (bribe) me with wealth? (I have no need for your wealth because) What (wealth) my Rabb has given me is better than what He has given you. It is you people who are pleased about your gift (because you have love for the treasures of this world, while I do not. I do not want your wealth, but desire that you become Mu'mineen)."
Tafsir (excerpt) —
