The Holy Quran 26:40 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ

Translation

"...so that we may follow (witness) the (ways of the) magicians if they are victorious (over Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إننا نطمع أن تكون الغلبة للسحرة، فنثبت على ديننا.
