The Holy Quran 26:41 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا۟ لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ

Translation

When the magicians arrived (for the contest), they asked Fir'oun, “Shall we receive any prize (privileges) if we are victorious?"

فلما جاء السحرة فرعون قالوا له: أإن لنا لأجرًا مِن مال أو جاه، إنْ كنا نحن الغالبين لموسى؟
