The Holy Quran 25:62 — Surah Al-Furqan

Arabic text

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا

Translation

It is He Who has appointed the night and the day in succession for the one who intends to take heed (reflect) or who intends to be grateful. (It is such people who appreciate these favours of Allaah and use them in obedience to Him.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وهو الذي جعل الليل والنهار متعاقبَيْن يَخْلُف أحدهما الآخر لمن أراد أن يعتبر بما في ذلك إيمانًا بالمدبِّر الخالق، أو أراد أن يشكر لله تعالى على نعمه وآلائه.
