The Holy Quran 25:61 — Surah Al-Furqan

Arabic text

تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجًا وَقَمَرًا مُّنِيرًا

Translation

Blessed is the Being Who created gigantic stars in the sky and (among the more prominent sources of light that He created in the sky, He has) placed the sun (lamp) and the luminous moon in it.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

عَظُمَتْ بركات الرحمن وكثر خيره، الذي جعل في السماء النجوم الكبار بمنازلها، وجعل فيها شمسًا تضيء وقمرًا ينير.
