The Holy Quran 25:63 — Surah Al-Furqan

Arabic text

وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلْجَـٰهِلُونَ قَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا

Translation

Ar Rahmaan's bondsmen are these who walk on earth in humility (without pride) and, when the ignorant talk to them, they (excuse themselves) saying, "Salaam" (Leave us in peace). (By doing this, they avoid useless talk and senseless arguments.)"

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وعباد الرحمن الصالحون يمشون على الأرض بسكينة متواضعين، وإذا خاطبهم الجهلة السفهاء بالأذى أجابوهم بالمعروف من القول، وخاطبوهم خطابًا يَسْلَمون فيه من الإثم، ومن مقابلة الجاهل بجهله.
