The Holy Quran 25:16 — Surah Al-Furqan

Arabic text

لَّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ خَـٰلِدِينَ ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَّسْـُٔولًا

Translation

There they shall have whatever they desire and they will live there forever (eternally). This is a promise that your Rabb has undertaken to fulfil (by this grace only) and for which He should be asked. (man should constantly pray to Allaah to enter him into Jannah.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

لهؤلاء المطيعين في الجنة ما يشتهون من ملاذِّ النعيم، متاعهم فيه دائم، كان دخولهم إياها على ربك - أيها الرسول - وعدًا مسؤولا يسأله عباد الله المتقون، والله لا يخلف وعده.
