The Holy Quran 21:32 — Surah Al-Anbya

Arabic text

وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقْفًا مَّحْفُوظًا ۖ وَهُمْ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِهَا مُعْرِضُونَ

Translation

And We have made the sky a protected roof (which Allaah safeguards to protect man from deadly rays and meteors), yet they (the Kuffaar) turn away from Our Aayaat (refusing to accept them).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وجعلنا السماء سقفًا للأرض لا يرفعها عماد، وهي محفوظة لا تسقط، ولا تخترقها الشياطين، والكفار عن الاعتبار بآيات السماء (الشمس والقمر والنجوم) ، غافلون لاهون عن التفكير فيها.
