The Holy Quran 21:31 — Surah Al-Anbya

Arabic text

وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

Translation

We have placed counterweights (mountains) on the earth so that it does not shake with them (people), and We have made wide roads on earth so that they be guided (in their travels from place to place).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وخلقنا في الأرض جبالا تثبتها حتى لا تضطرب، وجعلنا فيها طرقًا واسعة; رجاء اهتداء الخلق إلى معايشهم، وتوحيد خالقهم.
