The Holy Quran 18:102 — Surah Al-Kahf

Arabic text

أَفَحَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن يَتَّخِذُوا۟ عِبَادِى مِن دُونِىٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۚ إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ نُزُلًا

Translation

Do the Kaafiroon think that they can exclude Me to take My slaves (such as the angels or Prophets) as assistants (as gods)? Without doubt, We have prepared Jahannam as a reception for the Kaafiroon.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أفظن الذين كفروا بي أن يتخذوا عبادي آلهة من غيري؛ ليكونوا أولياء لهم؟ إنا أعتدنا نار جهنم للكافرين منزلا.
