The Holy Quran 18:101 — Surah Al-Kahf

Arabic text

ٱلَّذِينَ كَانَتْ أَعْيُنُهُمْ فِى غِطَآءٍ عَن ذِكْرِى وَكَانُوا۟ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَمْعًا

Translation

(The Kaafiroon are) Those whose eyes (in the world) were veiled from My remembrance (because of which they never thought of Allaah) and they were unable to hear (the truth and accept).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

الذين كانت أعينهم في الدنيا في غطاء عن ذكري فلا تبصر آياتي، وكانوا لا يطيقون سماع حججي الموصلة إلى الإيمان بي وبرسولي.
