The Holy Quran 17:48 — Surah Al-Isra

Arabic text

ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّوا۟ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًا

Translation

Look how they call you names (such as a bewitched man, a poet, a magician, etc) ! (The fact of the matter is that) They (and not you) have gone (roam) astray and will not find the way (back to the truth. Therefore, to substantiate their false positions, they use every means to discredit Rasulullaah ﷺ).

تفكر -أيها الرسول- متعجبًا من قولهم: إن محمدًا ساحر شاعر مجنون!! فجاروا وانحرفوا، ولم يهتدوا إلى طريق الحق والصواب.
