The Holy Quran 17:20 — Surah Al-Isra

Arabic text

كُلًّا نُّمِدُّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مِنْ عَطَآءِ رَبِّكَ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ عَطَآءُ رَبِّكَ مَحْظُورًا

Translation

We grant to all (to both groups), to these (those who desire the Aakhirah) and to those (those who desire the world) from the grace (bounty) of your Rabb (in this world). The grace (bounty) of your Rabb is not restricted (Allaah gives to everyone without His treasures being depleted).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

كل فريق من العاملين للدنيا الفانية، والعاملين للآخرة الباقية نزيده مِن رزقنا، فنرزق المؤمنين والكافرين في الدنيا؛ فإن الرزق مِن عطاء ربك تفضلا منه، وما كان عطاء ربك ممنوعا من أحد مؤمنًا كان أم كافرًا.
