The Holy Quran 17:19 — Surah Al-Isra

Arabic text

وَمَنْ أَرَادَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ وَسَعَىٰ لَهَا سَعْيَهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ كَانَ سَعْيُهُم مَّشْكُورًا

Translation

(On the other hand,) Whoever desires the Aakhirah and exerts (strives) himself for it as he ought to and is a Mu'min, then such are the people whose deeds will be appreciated (by Allaah and He will reward them abundantly).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ومَن قصد بعمله الصالح ثواب الدار الآخرة الباقية، وسعى لها بطاعة الله تعالى، وهو مؤمن بالله وثوابه وعظيم جزائه، فأولئك كان عملهم مقبولا مُدَّخرًا لهم عند ربهم، وسيثابون عليه.
