The Holy Quran 11:85 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

وَيَـٰقَوْمِ أَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْمِكْيَالَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشْيَآءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ

Translation

"O my people! Weigh and measure in full with justice, do not decrease for people their things (do not give them less than they pay for) and do not spread corruption on earth (by committing kufr, Shirk and oppressing people)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ويا قوم أتمُّوا المكيال والميزان بالعدل، ولا تُنْقِصوا الناس حقهم في عموم أشيائهم، ولا تسيروا في الأرض تعملون فيها بمعاصي الله ونشر الفساد.
