The Holy Quran 11:48 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

قِيلَ يَـٰنُوحُ ٱهْبِطْ بِسَلَـٰمٍ مِّنَّا وَبَرَكَـٰتٍ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰٓ أُمَمٍ مِّمَّن مَّعَكَ ۚ وَأُمَمٌ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

Translation

It was commanded, “O Nooh! Disembark (from the ark) with peace from Us and blessings upon you and upon those parties with you (profit they and their progeny who accept Imaan). And there shall be many parties (of Kuffaar) to whom We will grant enjoyment (in this world) and then subject them to a torturous (painful) punishment (in the Aakhirah)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قال الله: يا نوح اهبط من السفينة إلى الأرض بأمن وسلامة منَّا وبركات عليك وعلى أمم ممن معك. وهناك أمم وجماعات من أهل الشقاء سنمتعهم في الحياة الدنيا، إلى أن يبلغوا آجالهم، ثم ينالهم منا العذاب الموجع يوم القيامة.
