The Holy Quran 11:119 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَ ۚ وَلِذَٰلِكَ خَلَقَهُمْ ۗ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

Translation

...except those on whom your Rabb has mercy (such people will conscientiously follow the teachings of the Ambiyaa without question). (Do not grieve about this because) Allaah had created them for this. (They are meant to dispute in this world because) The decree of your Rabb shall certainly be fulfilled: (the decree being) "I will definitely fill Jahannam with multitudes of man and Jinn." (Therefore, there will always be people who deserve to enter Jahannam.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إلا مَن رحم ربك فآمنوا به واتبعوا رسله، فإنهم لا يختلفون في توحيد الله وما جاءت به الرسل من عند الله، وقد اقتضت حكمته سبحانه وتعالى أنه خَلَقهم مختلفين: فريق شقيٌّ وفريق سعيد، وكل ميسر لما خُلِق له. وبهذا يتحقق وعد ربك في قضائه وقدره: أنه سبحانه سيملأ جهنم من الجن والإنس الذين اتبعوا إبليس وجنده ولم يهتدوا للإيمان.
