The Holy Quran 11:120 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

وَكُلًّا نَّقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلرُّسُلِ مَا نُثَبِّتُ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَ ۚ وَجَآءَكَ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَقُّ وَمَوْعِظَةٌ وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Translation

(O Rasulullaah ﷺ) We (consoled) narrate to you all the narratives of the Rusul so that your heart may be strengthened (consoled) by them (so that you may take courage from them). In these (narratives) the truth (the true state of affairs) has come to you, as well as advice and a reminder for the Mu'mineen.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ونقصُّ عليك -أيها النبي- من أخبار الرسل الذين كانوا قبلك، كل ما تحتاج إليه مما يقوِّي قلبك للقيام بأعباء الرسالة، وقد جاءك في هذه السورة وما اشتملت عليه من أخبار، بيان الحق الذي أنت عليه، وجاءك فيها موعظة يرتدع بها الكافرون، وذكرى يتذكر بها المؤمنون بالله ورسله.
