Proof of ‘ushr from the Qur’an

Question

Some people say that Allah the Exalted has not revealed any command in the Qur’an regarding ‘ushr (the tithe on agricultural produce). Does the verse: “O you who believe, spend from the good things that you have earned and from what We have brought forth for you from the earth…” (Juz 3, Ruku 5) not establish this ruling? What is the ruling concerning such a person?

Hafiz Abu Bakr Jassas Razi, may Allah have mercy on him, transmitted in his book “Ahkam al-Qur’an” (vol. 3, p. 10) the consensus of the Ummah that in the verse: “And give its due on the day of its harvest” the intended meaning is ‘ushr.
