The Need for a Spiritual Guide or Wali

Question

Is reliance on a spiritual guide or wali necessary in order to reach Allah?

Answer

If the path is known without a guide or wali, and one also has the capacity to walk it, then an intermediary is not necessary — as is the case with the prophets ﵈.
