Loud Dhikr After Prayer

Question

What is the ruling on loud remembrance (dhikr) after the five daily prayers, such as reciting Ayat al-Kursi and similar verses, and making supplication aloud? Is there proof for this from the Prophet ﷺ?

Answer

After those obligatory prayers which are followed by Sunnah prayers, the practice of the Prophet ﷺ was that after giving salām he would recite a brief supplication, then move to his blessed chamber and perform the Sunnah prayers there. At that place, there was no established practice of performing loud collective dhikr or recitation.
