Hijab from the wife of one’s paternal uncle and of one’s maternal uncle

Question

Is it necessary to observe hijab from the paternal uncle’s wife and the maternal uncle’s wife, or are they like the other mahrams?

Answer

Whether both of them are step-relations or full relations, in the Shari‘a they are unrelated (ajnabi); hijab from them is necessary just as it is from strangers.
