Besides moderation, several other characteristics are also found in the fatwas of the Faqih al-Umma ﵀; in brief their particulars are as follows. Generally the answers were brief, after the sense of [ar]خَيْرُ الْكَلَامِ مَا قَلَّ وَدَلَّ[/ar] (“the best speech is that which is brief and points to the meaning”)
