A Lesson in Jalālayn: Three Akhfashes, ʿUbayd and ʿIbād
Answer
In the lesson of Tafsīr al-Jalālayn Ḥaḍrat ﵋ recounted an exchange between a teacher and a student. To all appearances the incident is his own; but Ḥaḍrat ﵋ conceals his own attainments to the utmost, and so, even when for the correction of seekers he must mention some accomplishment of his, he does not ascribe it to himself.
