The Noble Companions in the Position of Ifta

Answer

After the Prophet ﷺ, this magnificent office was held by his noble, insightful Companions, regarding whom Allah the Exalted graciously said: [ar]رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ[/ar] "Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him." (Surah 9, At-Tawbah, verse 100).
