الْحَلَالُ بَيِّنٌ وَالْحَرَامُ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَهُمَا مُشَبَّهَاتٌ لَا يَعْلَمُهَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَمَنِ اتَّقَى الْمُشَبَّهَاتِ اسْتَبْرَأَ لِدِينِهِ وَعِرْضِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters that many people do not know. Whoever guards against the doubtful matters protects his religion and his honor.”

Description

Advantame is an aspartame derivative: isovanillin → HMCA → HMPA, then selective hydrogenation with aspartame (Pd, Pt catalysts), recrystallisation (methanol, ethyl acetate). Possible links: aspartame (animal, alcohol and carbon links of dossier E951 — transferred); Pd/C and Pt/C support and HMCA-purification carbon (bone char possible)
