محمد بن محمد، أبو عبد الله، قطب الدين الرازي المعروف بالقطب التحتاني

Author of the commentary «al-Matali'»/«ash-Shamsiyya»; the second of the two teachers of at-Taftazani («أخذ عن القطب والعضد»). There is no biography of his own in the 6 collections — the identification is built on intra-corpus cross-checking (the same chapter twice names «القطب الرازي» by this full name and distinguishes him from his namesake al-Shirazi, d. 710). The year of death (~766 in general historiography) was not found verbatim in the corpus — deliberately left empty, not invented.
