Qadi al-qudat, author of «al-Mawaqif» and of a commentary on «Mukhtasar Ibn al-Hajib»; one of the two teachers of at-Taftazani («أخذ عن القطب والعضد» in Ibn Hajar). Died in confinement in the fortress of Darabiyan on the order of the ruler of Kerman. His own teacher is named vaguely («Shaykh Zayn ad-Din, a student of al-Baydawi») — not enough for a separate node, the chain above does not extend.
