Surah Al-Muddaththir (المدثر)

74:1
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمُدَّثِّرُ
O you wrapped in a blanket.
74:2
قُمْ فَأَنذِرْ
Stand up (among the people) and warn (them about Allaah's punishment for rejecting Imaan).
74:3
وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ
Announce the greatness of your Rabb (which is a most important element of your message).
74:4
وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ
(When preaching Towheed, mind your appearance and ensure that you) Keep your clothing clean. (External purity complements internal purity.)
74:5
وَٱلرُّجْزَ فَٱهْجُرْ
(In addition to this, also) Stay away from filth (idols and sin, as you have always been doing).
74:6
وَلَا تَمْنُن تَسْتَكْثِرُ
Do not give (anything) to others with the intention of receiving back more (from them as a token of thanks).
74:7
وَلِرَبِّكَ فَٱصْبِرْ
Be patient (endure the taunts and opposition of the Kuffaar) for the sake (pleasure) of your Rabb (for He will reward you abundantly for it).
