The Holy Quran 8:74 — Surah Al-Anfal

Arabic text

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَـٰهَدُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاوَوا۟ وَّنَصَرُوٓا۟ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّا ۚ لَّهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ

Translation

Those who had Imaan, who made Hijrah (for Allaah's pleasure) and who strove in Allaah's way (the Muhaajireen), as well as those who granted shelter (to them) and assisted (them, referring to the Ansaar), these are the true Mu'mineen. For them shall be forgiveness and bountiful sustenance (in Jannah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

والذين آمنوا بالله ورسوله، وتركوا ديارهم قاصدين دار الإسلام أو بلدًا يتمكنون فيه من عبادة ربهم، وجاهدوا لإعلاء كلمة الله، والذين نصروا إخوانهم المهاجرين وآووهم وواسوهم بالمال والتأييد، أولئك هم المؤمنون الصادقون حقًا، لهم مغفرة لذنوبهم، ورزق كريم واسع في جنات النعيم.
